Contact Information: Your hypnotist can be contacted via e-mail at info@seehypnosis.com.

In addition to the SEE Hypnosis Client Bill of Rights, please see the State of Washington’s “What to know before you go,” hypnotist pamphlet.

Education & Training: The hypnotists working at SEE Hypnosis are Certified in hypnosis by the National Guild of Hypnotists and Cascade Hypnosis Training Center. Training has been extensive and includes but is not limited to certifications in Regression, Progression, Parts Hypnotherapy and additional studies. In addition, we commit to an additional 100 hours of generalized training and a minimum of 25 hours of specialty training per year.

Under Washington state law a hypnotist may not provide a medical diagnosis or recommend discontinuance of medically prescribed treatments. If a client desires a diagnosis or any other type of treatment from a different practitioner, the client may seek such services at any time (NOTE: this is highly encouraged!). In the event our services are terminated by a client, the client has a right to coordinate transfer of services to another practitioner. A client has a right to refuse hypnosis services at any time. A client has a right to be free of physical, verbal or sexual abuse. A client has a right to know the expected duration of treatment and may assert any right without retaliation.” Redress: We are Certified members of the National Guild of Hypnotists and practice in accordance with its Code of Ethics and Standards. If you have a complaint about our services or behavior that we cannot resolve for you personally, you may contact the National Guild of Hypnotists at P.O. Box 308, Merrimack, NH 03054, (603) 429-9438, or The American Hypnosis Association at 18607 Ventura Boulevard, Suite 310 Tarzana, CA 91356, 800-479-9464 to seek redress.

Fees: The charge for our services is $239.60 per session, as a package of 5 (or 6 in cases of substance abuse). We do not offer one-time hypnosis, as this has been shown to be ineffective. Single sessions can be purchased only in addition to the 5-PATH package. The majority of issues can be addressed in five sessions (addiction issues require six (6) sessions).

NOTE: some clients and/or issues require more sessions, and this will be discussed with the client as soon as the Hypnotist recognizes this necessity — additional services are not required, but if we have to repeat any session, it will leave an entire section of the 5-PATH process unaddressed, which is not recommended.

A 4% Credit Card convenience fee will be applied to all credit card purchases.

If you pay for all five 5-Path Sessions all at once, you can get $100 off of your total Package Price. If you decide to pay at the initial consultation, you will receive a $100 off. (NOTE: You can get both the “all at once” payment and the initial consultation discount together!)

Cashiers checks and cash are also accepted. We do not accept personal checks. We apologize for this necessity.

Due to session length, we can only see 2-3 clients per day. One weeks notice to cancel or change an appointment is required. Failure to provide notice will result in a charge of 100% of the session fee.

Confidentiality: We will not release any information to anyone without a written authorization from you, except as provided for by law. You have a right to be allowed access to our written records about you.  Every session is video recorded for both quality assurance and security. This video will never be shared with anyone, and is only used for quality assurance and as protection for both the client and Hypnotist.

Insurance: In general, insurance companies are not open to covering hypnotic services, and we caution you not to expect them to do so.

Our Approach: We sincerely believe that we all harness incredible untapped power within our minds. We are not medical or psychological professionals and as a result do not work with physical or mental disease without a referral from a licensed medical or psychological professional. However, if you have a diagnosis, we can work with your provider to augment their treatments. If you do not have a diagnosed mental or physical illness, we can work on specific issues with the expectation that we will not diagnose a medical or mental issue, but will work on “normal, every day issues”, e.g., we don’t work with Anxiety (unless we coordinate with your provider), we work with fear; we don’t work with depression, we work with feelings of hopelessness or being overwhelmed. These distinctions are important, as we cannot diagnose “depression” or “anxiety” or any other medical/mental illness, as we are not Psychologists, Therapists, Practitioners, or Physicians — therefore we don’t diagnose, and thus cannot “know” a client’s problem is, for example, “anxiety”.

From time to time, the Hypnotist will use the term “Anxiety” or “Depression”; these terms are meant in the “general understanding” of these feelings, and do not constitute a diagnosis — they simply refer to feelings as understood by the general public.

At this time we cannot work with children under the age of 18, as this requires additional certifications.

Our Commitment to You: We stand in an active role of solidarity with people with marginalized identities. We are committed to antiracism, anti-homophobia, anti-transphobia, anti-ableism, and anti-fat bias. Everyone comes from different walks of life, and we consider this a strength, not a weakness. Our offices employ staff who promote a positive and inclusive environment for all clients. All are welcomed, respected, and valued here.

Lastly, hypnosis is a very powerful process that has helped thousands of Americans to make the kinds of changes that they want to make in their lives. However, hypnosis is not mind control. For example, no one, not even the very best hypnotist, could make you lose weight, or stop smoking if you really don’t want to. Nor could he or she accurately predict how many sessions it will take. Most people (but not everyone) begin to experience the benefits from the very first session and most people are done in five to six sessions. Ultimately, you are responsible for the changes that occur as a result of the hypnosis sessions.

This is both “good” and “bad”. It is “good” because, after you have made the changes that you want from hypnosis, you deserve a great deal of the credit, and this knowledge helps you to make more changes in your life. But, on the other hand, it is bad because I cannot guarantee that the changes will come about. In fact, this is true in any situation where a professional is trying to help you. There is always a human factor. Doctors don’t guarantee that you will get well. Teachers can’t guarantee that you will learn, and lawyers can’t guarantee that you will “win” you case. What I can guarantee, here at SEE Hypnosis, is the very best service, having current information and appropriate hypnotic techniques for your situation.
