Hypnosis can help you, even if you don’t have a problem — Move from baseline to better than ever.
If you have a problem, you would like to resolve that issue. This is the model of most of medicine, therapy, and hypnosis. This is called “Secondary” or “Tertiary” prevention; meaning, when you have an acute problem, you try to fix it (secondary) or you have a chronic problem, and you try to manage it (tertiary, or third).
The least used prevention type is type one: Primary Prevention, which means that you prevent the problem from ever happening in the first place.
Primary Prevention is used in Public Health (e.g., anti smoking advertising) and a little in Medicine (e.g., the doctor tells you to slow down on the sweets to prevent Diabetes).
It is the advise we usually ignore! (Humans are motivated by the “stick” of a current problem more than the nebulous “carrot” of preventing it.)
So, if you have a problem, you are usually looking for services that are Secondary or Tertiary treatments.
You want to get back to the level you were before you had the problem!
But, what happens when you get to your baseline? Do you suddenly become super happy and satisfied, and you live happily ever after? Chances are, you will be exactly like you were before you had your problem. This may seem like enough, and many times this can make the difference between misery and peace, but it will not make you better than you were before you had your problem.
So what kind of prevention is going to make you happy? Well, there is no category, yet, in this model.
Most of the world is geared towards Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary prevention.
But there is an entirely different focus, at least in Psychology: Positive Psychology. Positive Psychology is concerned with getting from the baseline to “Better” than the baseline. They measure this in Happiness (an older goal, mostly deemed too unspecific nowadays, though), Satisfaction and Engagement (Flow).
Hypnosis can increase your general Satisfaction and Flow, by many means: Age Progression, revealing Unconscious goals, eliminating unrealistic limiting beliefs, helping you enjoy life moment to moment with gratitude & changing your negative reactions, and much more.

It reinforces this natural process that began in Hypnosis, while reminding us that life can just keep getting better! (Say this to yourself 10 time before you go to bed every night!)
