Motivation — Everyone has it. You do too!
Oh, yeah, the work-day is done! You’re tired, and you are really looking forward eating dinner & watching TV. However, you made a commitment to yourself to go to the gym. What do you do? Well, if you’re like the majority of people, you go home, eat poorly and veg out in front of the television.
So, what is the difference between the person that does the hard things and the one that does not? Is it character? Is it “grit”? Is it simply that some people are just lazy?
You may be surprised to learn that there is no such thing as “lazy”! There is only motivation.
The person that goes home and eats dinner in front of the TV is motivated to do that, just as the person who goes to the gym is motivated to go workout.
The difference in these two people is three fold: what they are focusing on, how powerfully they feel the pressure, and their unconscious beliefs. This is the Trinity of Motivation.
These three things have to be in alignment for you to do anything! Going to the gym, putting on socks, eating ice cream … every decision is motivated by your mind using these three factors.
If you are trying to make a positive change, you are going to need to account for all three of these factors. However, “you” (your conscious self) can only control, at most, two of these things: Focus and Pressure. Most likely, you can’t even control “pressure”!
This is because when you are trying to change, your Unconscious will always resist, simply because it sees change as dangerous, automatically. More importantly, if you are finding change to be impossible, your Unconscious self (the part of you that provides energy to any endeavor) does not believe that you should or even deserve to change.
Simply put, the majority of “you” does not want to make the change! This is most likely because your unconscious has deeply held beliefs that are directly opposed to your goal.
How are you supposed to make this change if 85% of you does not want to do it?
Not only that, but now you have a conflict between your Conscious (the 15% you think of as “you”) and your Unconscious (the other 85%), and this causes you to feel terrible. You may feel guilt, frustration, and even despair.
This is where Hypnosis comes in. Through hypnosis, we can find those beliefs and change them at the Unconscious level. When you do this, suddenly you are able to accomplish your goals! Why? Because all of you believes you should do it, deserve it, and thinking of your goal feels empowering!
5-PATH Hypnosis is specifically designed to address not only Unconscious beliefs, but all three of these critical change factors!
